We finally bought a new LED HDTV, and now it seems to not be compatible with our cable box. We get a green screen every now and then. We've tried both an HDMI hookup and a component cable hookup. Could it be time for a new box?

is it a motorola box? If so turn off the box leave the tv on and press the menu button. In there make sure you have the output set to 1080 or native.
I'm assuming an HD box, since we get HD channels. We have the HDMI hookup in the back. It's grey with the black screen.
