DCX 3400 1080 720 or Native

What is the best output setting for this DVR to a high Def set. Also posted in Cable TV equipment,did not know which forum to post this question.

A lot depends on the TV.  It may have better circuitry than the cable box, so that native would allow the TV to do any necessary conversion better.  That would also minimize the number of conversions necessary.  However, it also might introduce annoying handshaking delays between the box and the TV when the output resolution changes.  You probably should try different settings to see what seems best to you.
