xfi app tells me "To continue, the primary user has to grant access." but I am the primary user?

I'm trying to set up internet service with xfinity app.  When I log in the app tells me "To continue, the primary user has to grant access."  but I am the primary user?  Do I need to grant myself access somewhere?

Hi kmd12, in order to help troubleshoot this issue I will need to verify the user ID that you are attempting to login into xFi with. I will reach out via private message.
