xFi App Not Working (Receiving Message I Need to Upgrade Equipment)

I got this message and realized I did not have the router needed so I upgraded.  When I got the new router, I used the app to set-up one it got to last step it timed out.  The new router though is set up and shows connected in My Account and I am able to use the internet.  However when I try to use XFi it comes back with Upgrade Equipment.  I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled, I have re-booted the router and used the Chat with a Comcast employee and nothing.

I'm having the same issue.  App isn't finding the new router.

Hi donavanb, can you try logging into xFi through the web portal www.xfinity.com/myxFi and let me know if you receive the same upgrade screen?
