Upgrade for This Experience Message after install of Cisco 3941T Gateway while trying to use xFi

We upgraded to a Cisco 3941T Gateway, renting through Comcast, to bundle phone with Internet and TV.  We want to use the features of xFi to monitor our kids usage and set limits for bedtime.  We are able to get to the internet, get emails and the phone works fine with the new Gateway, however we are not able to get the xFi app to work on my iPhone 7 or online at xfinity.com/myxFi .  We are receiving a message that states Upgrade for this Experience.  If we click on the upgrade now button it tells us we have the latest equipment.  We have noticed others with the same or similiar issue in the forums.  Can someone help resolve this issue?
