Re: SSID Broadcast

Good afternoon @DPappy1, yes, there is a way to do it.

Please take a look at https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/hide-disable-in-home-wifi for more details.

Hiding Your In-Home WiFi Network in Xfinity xFi

  1. Visit www.xfinity.com/myxFi or open the Xfinity xFi app and sign in with your Xfinity username and password.
  2. Navigate to the More section, where you will see your WiFi name(s) displayed (found under the Advanced Settings in the xFi app).
XFINITY xFi page for WiFi Settings

  3. If you would like to hide your WiFi network from broadcasting, select Edit next to WiFi Settings. A new dialog window will appear. Uncheck Broadcast WiFi Name and select Apply Changes at the bottom of the dialog window.

Are you a new Comcast Internet customer?  I don't think Comcast has that ability.

Re: SSID Broadcast

I make a distinction between "hiding" and "disable".
