MOCA with Xfi

MOCA with Xfi

The lastest verson of Xfi on my X1 box has slowed my MOCA netwok down by 3X. If i power off the X1 box, the speed comes back. The X1 box "insists" on being the MOCA network controller. Is there anyway to disable Xfi, i have more need for the network speed than I do Xfi.

Re: MOCA with Xfi

MOCAuser, have you tried factory resetting the modem? I've heard on the forums that this will disable xFi.

Re: MOCA with Xfi

Yes I have tried that, and also resetting the The X1 box in various orders but as soon as the X1 box reboots the MOCA network speed decreases. Also something to note is that the X1 box is shown as the MOCA network controller in the modem MOCA diagnostics page. I'm not sure if that was the case before the recent updates. Never paid attention to that before.
