If I set bedtime on Xfi, will my children be able to use the pubic hotspot - "xfinitywifi"?

If I set bedtime on Xfi, will my children be able to use the pubic hotspot - "xfinitywifi"?

Or will Xfi block them from using that SSID as well?  (if not, I will have to disable guest access.)

Currently bedtime only pauses WiFi access on your home network and does not pause access using the public XFINITY WiFi hotspot (xfinitywifi), other available WiFi networks or access using cellular data.

For anyone who lives in an apartment building they will not be able to use this feature.  Will this ever be fixed?

Have you tried turning off xfinitywifi in your My Account?

Re: If I set bedtime on Xfi, will my children be able to use the pubic hotspot - "xfinitywifi&a

I was told on my messages that my usage was 1024 and another was 1028 and it said that I would have 2mths. Grace before I was charged 10.00 for extra WiFi. I had no idea about the public WiFi signal coming into my apartment in case a guest wanted to use it! I never finished setting up the WiFi app because I didn't like how you can see my password and devices, I haven't been getting any messages for about a month and I tried everything and I ended up at the WiFi area and there's 3 devices using my hotspot like another person on the forms suggested! I'm under Deborah and Debbie! How do I remove all devices names and get rid of the hotspot? Obviously being in a apartment isn't the smartest thing for Comcast to be doing, I had a feeling it was being used and now I know 4 sure because I don't have a device named Winston nor have one of the product listed+ my modem name was changed by Xfinity! It's no longer called x setup. So there still using the signal regardless! I paused all devices but I'm upset you can see my password. Please advise thanks
I don't want anymore community form email! I don't have time to delete thousands until I can figure out how to only get the ones I looked at
