Disconnecting connected devices

Disconnecting connected devices

With xfi I can not disconnect any devices. Not my own iPhone, or my wife’s iPhone or my sons wireless desk top or his laptop or any devices. When I pause them they just continue to stream. Even after following the instruction.
Please help. I have posted to this form before and they just ask me what devices have I tried to pause. There are links for posted solutions that go no where.
