I have uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Silverlight (several times!). I'm still getting this error. I have cleared my browser history/cache/etc. I have checked my Silverlight preferences, and I have checked the box "Enable DRM Support" box.
I do not know what else to do--please advise. You advised someone above about a .cmd file, but the instructions did not make sense to me as I'm on a MacBook Pro.
I haven't been able to use my Xfinity Streampix service now for a month. Please help.
2) Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/ and drag the Silverlight folder into your trash 3) Navigate to ~/Library/Preferences/ and drag the com.microsoft.silverlight.plist file to your trash 4) Empty the trash 5) Hide your hidden files again by opening the Terminal and entering:
defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles NO
then hit Return/Enter
6) Restart your computer 7) Reinstall Silverlight from here
8) Try watching a video again

things were working this mørning again without doing that last thing you mentioned but yes i had done that already. thanks for your help i dont know what changed between late last night and this afternoon when it wasnt working and then was but as long as it works then its all good
