Family Sense app

I am interested in how to get started with the Family Sense App, my representative showed it to me and I downloaded it onto my phone but it tells me I have to have a family sense from Xfinity account, how do I get that and is there a charge for it?

I searched for an app by that name on both iOS and android but found no match. I'm not aware of any Xfinity app by that name nor a feature of an Xfinity app by that name. Could you give more details?

Re: Family Sense app

I also at first did not find it when I searched the Google play store, but googled Xfinity family sense and found the information and was able to find the app and download to my phone.  Below is the information the internet gave me about the app.

From Comcast Cable Communications: Now Constant Guard by XFINITY offers Family Sense to help you guide your kids on how to protect their privacy, reputation and safety when using PCs or mobile devices. Review Facebook posts, Tweets, and images all in one place, and even get alerts around questionable posts and cyber-bullying. The XFINITY Family Sense mobile application for iPhone mobile devices is a component of the Family Sense product. Enrollment in XFINITY Internet and Family Sense is required in order to get the activation code for this mobile application. Re: Family Sense app

Clicking on this link: https://www.xfinity-constantguard-myfamily.com/app/brands/common_elements/pages/terms.php?p_brand=fa... takes you to a unsecured page.

Clicking on Comcast Cable Communications leads to the family and sense app, but then wants you to DL Itunes for Windows.

Clicking on the 2nd link supplied returns a 404 error. Personally I would stay away from this "app"

Re: Family Sense app

Found this info searching some more.

Under the current promotion, the app is free for 60 days and $9.95 per month after the trial period concludes.

Though the Family Sense app has a monthly service fee after the free trial period, all of the other Xfinity mobile apps are free to download and use.
