Additional costs and apps for XFI?

So, I saw something about xfi, which is kind of a parental control/wifi network management service with an app. It says I have to upgrade, but DOESN'T SAY HOW MUCH IT'LL COST ME (no surprise there!). It also says to the app is available on Apple or Google Play, but I CAN'T FIND IT - not if the word XFI in it.

 

Does anyone have any more information?

hi, I moved your post to the mobile apps area. If you rent a modem/gateway from Comcast it is the same price for any model you pay for services (like phone and home security) separately or as part of a package. The XFI app may be limited to iOS 9 and above and to android marshmallow or later. both app stores will not offer apps to you if your version is not new enough for the app to run.

To start, you would have to swap out your personal owned modem for either an XB3 or XB6. Check this thread for more details
