I am into the same situation that you are in.. sales rep at the store activated my phone with a new number and Xfinity is now unable to port it in from Tmobile.Every time I call in they say it is escalated to Tier 2 and they will call back and its been 2 weeks issue is not resolved.This is a pretty common case of porting and I am surprised how long it takes Xfinity to resolve this or tell us they cannot do this.

gnk81, ports are most successful when done during the activation process. If you have a deferred port in progress, I can check on it. Please send me a private message with your full name and the phone number associated with your residential account for help.
