It's been several days but the number transfer for one of my Xfinity Mobile line still failed after couple of attempts. My current carrier is OOMA, an Internet VOIP provider. Any one has success with OOMA porting and share your experience/tricks? I already contacted both XM and OOMA for couple of times but still no luck, getting tired of it now...

Update: finally got ported successfully on 9/11. OOMA seems to have different account information as I expected: they reverted my first and last name, and also eats up some words in my full address. After contacting OOMA porting team to confirm my actual account information and update to XM, the porting finally went through.

BTW, OOMA doesn't have PIN, so you can leave it blank. Just make sure the account number (same as phone number), full name and address are all matched.

Failed? Did you receive any email or on-screen messages that told you the port was failed?

Yes, got email saying transfer failed and asking me to contact back. The web portal also shows the red message asking to chat or call.

Did you verify with OOMA CS to make sure you've had the correct account number and PIN?

lv1999, did confirm your account info like SBM17 suggested?

I too have the issue porting from Ooma to Xfinity mobile. So far made 10+ calls to both carriers and per Ooma's advise, used the following info:

First Name: Ooma

Last Name: Inc

Address: 1880 Embarcadero Rd Palo Alto, CA 94303

Account Number: Same as phone number

PIN: <Empty/No Pin>

Also tried account number as 1+Phone number.

Nothing worked.

Ooma asking for porting reference number to further escalate, but XFinityMobile couldnt provide one.

Can someone please help?

Thanks!

o2x1, if you need to get in contact with Tier 2 to complete the port, you'll have to call the main number 18889364968.

I'm assuming you didn't have the same name jumble, lv1999 had?
