Any luck moving sim card from Android to iPhone and getting Visual Voicemail to work?

I've heard the XM is having trouble provisioning you on the backend for an iPhone after your sim is activated for an Android phone.

 

Anyone have any luck of getting this to work? I have a second phone to activate and I am wondering if I can put the sim card in my old verizon iphone and try activating it on cellular to see if itll make XM think I have an iphone.

Due to current system limitations, we do not support bring your own devices (BYOD) at this time. We cannot guarantee that phones purchased outside of XFINITY Mobile will work and cannot offer support for them. We hope to be able to bring this service soon.

Anyone try these directions but for on a Verizon iPhone?
