AT&T landline porting question

AT&T landline porting question

Does anyone have any timeframe experience porting an AT&T landline over to Xfinity mobile.  With my other mobile numbers I ported it was within minutes.  But I understand from some searches that a landline may take longer.  I am only at 1.5 business days time since the chat agent processed the port without errors supposedly.

Lonelyboy, you are correct. Porting mobile phone number between the big 4 carriers usually happens within minutes, but landlines do take a longer and vary.  As long as there are no errors, landline ports usually get confirmation on our end in 72 business hours.

Re: AT&T landline porting question

Thanks KenF.  I am a patient person so I will just continue to wait.  There have been some glitches on the way with my Xfinity Mobile experience but in the end so far all of my issues or process steps have resolved in a positive manner.

Re: AT&T landline porting question

I ported an AT&T landline early September. I activated my Xfinity Mobile phone Thursday afternoon (thus began the porting process) and the phone went live Sunday evening, so roughly 3 days in my case.

Lonelyboy sounds good. I gave you a few more details via private message. If any errors appear, then we can fix them, but I don't see any in your case.

Lonelyboy, congrats on the cleared port. Post again if you need anything else.
