xfiniity home app on my Galaxy S8 Plus phone

Is anyone experiencing problems with the app on their Android system, mainly the Galaxy S8 Plus phone? When I try to open the app I get a pop up that says I have to have a browser on my phone. I have two browsers loaded and still cannot get it to work. I have un-installed and re-installed three or more times with no success. Tech support cannot solve the problem either. They have never heard of this except from one other person. Any ideas?

Can you please let me know which two browsers you have installed?  Also, if you click the link in the popup that says "OPEN GOOGLE PLAY STORE" -- can you tell me where you are directed?  Does it direct you to the general Play Store landing page or to a specific browser to download in the Play Store (Like Chrome, etc.)?
