i'm getting this message as well - support says it's a rare issue, they're supposed to call me back... very frustrating to not be able to use the app...

I also experience the Error Message 43401 when logging in. When I try again without exiting the app, it sits there forever spinning the wheel doing nothing.
On Iphone 5. Used to work fine.
Any solution/ fix/ workaround known?
Any results of your research that you could share with the community?
6 years since your reply we are still experiencing this problem.
It stops us from using Xfinity home, making it a useless tool, for which we are still paying.

We experienced a specific issue that caused 43401 errors on 6/25. We believe to have addressed the issue causing these errors. Can you please check that you are able to log in & let us know?
The older posts on this thread are likely caused from different issues. Typical 43401 errors are caused by using a non-provisioned username when logging in. I have responded to many other threads regarding this issue.
Works today. Thank you for getting back to me, and for fixing it.
It could not have been the username/ password, though. Wrong credentials alway give the specific message alerting to wrong username or password used.

Great! Happy we were able to get this resolved for you.
Correct, incorrect password will prompt a different error code & notification. 43401 errors are sometimes caused by using the non-primary username. In your case, there was a different cause for this error.
All users who experienced a 43401 error during the 6/25 incident have been confirmed as resolved & have been able to successfully log in.

Are you a current Xfinity Home security subscriber? I pulled up your account & don't see any current rate codes for this product. The app you are trying to log into is for this service. That would be the source of your error. If you believe this is incorrect, please let me know.
it appears there are many different comcast apps. I got that error also when trying to log into what I thought was the smartphone app that allows you to take comcast with you. It was the home security app. Make sure you get the right app
