Xfinity Home Permissions to Secondary User

Has anyone been able to add permissions to a secondary user for Xfinity Home control? I need help in giving a secondary user those permissions.

Hi juliocg79 - 

 

We currently only support sign in with the one email address associated with the Xfinity Home account.  If you cannot provide these credentials to another user, we can work with you to get a new email address created & updated, so you can share this with another user.

HI Rachel - I figured I'd be able to create another user and make it a primary user to allow this but that didn't work. Is there something else I need to do?

I can help you with this.  Is there already an email adress on your general Comcast account that you'd like to use?  If not, you can set up an @comcast.net email address & I can swap the email address linked to your Xfinity Home security account on my end.  Please private message me with the address you'd like to use going forward.

Comcast needs to fix this NOW, it is 2015, multiple users showed be able to user their email to loggin into Hone Security app. Come on Comcast get with it.

How long does it take you to add this feature? It's been almost a year since this particular discussion thread. Why can't I grant my kids the ability to arm/disarm the system from their phones? What is the hold-up?
