Xfinity Home App iPhone X Push notifications

So I’ve been using the Xfinity home app since I had the iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus and the app and notifications worked fine. Now with the iPhone X, none of my push notifications are working whenever I arm or disarm my system or doors being open or closed. All my settings are on and I even have my notifications set to persistent on my phone so I’m not sure if this is a known issue with the iPhone X or not.

We are looking into this issue.  Can you please try relaunching the app?  It should show you a prompt for push notifications -- then select yes.

Deleted the app and re added it and still nothing. Now it doesn’t even show the option to set notification settings. It gave me the prompt to use faceID but not allow notification settings. Also in the menu on my notifications, I don’t even see Xfinity home at all.

Deleting then then re-installing will not bring up the push notification prompt.  Please try killing the app using app switcher and then relaunching the app to get the push notification prompt.

Thanks for reporting the issue. Killing and re-launching the app is a temporary workaround if the app hasn't asked permissions for push notifications. we will be fixing this issue in the next app release (v9.4).
