Xfinity Home App - Thermostats keeps resetting to 39 degrees cool

Xfinity Home App - Thermostats keeps resetting to 39 degrees cool

I am seeing an issue where my thermostat settings on the Xfinity Home App keep reverting back to 39 degrees. Luckily, it is not actually changing the actual thermostat settings on the actual thermostats - but it was very concerning when I first saw it happen. The settings are correct and do no automatically change on the touchscreen or on the online portal.

Is anybody else experiencing this?

Comcast- how do I fix this? It seems like to be an issue on the application side and not with any of my equipment at home...

So glad I am not the only one experiencing this issue! Definitely must be a current bug

Re: Xfinity Home App - Thermostats keeps resetting to 39 degrees cool

For the last 3 nights the temperature on my Xfinity Home mobile app keeps resetting down down to 45 degrees! I checked the thermostat itself and once it was set to 45 and the other it was on 70 even though the app said 45. Screenshot attached. Not sure what we're supposed to do here. When I fix it, it goes right back within a few hours. Hopefully Xfinity will reimburse me for the higher bill this month.

Re: Xfinity Home App - Thermostats keeps resetting to 39 degrees cool

I am sorry for the inconvenience.  This was due to a bug in our app.  The app was incorrectly displaying a thermostat temperature of 45 degrees, but the actual temperature set on the thermostat was not impacted.

This bug has been fixed in our latest release.  Please upgrade to the latest version and let us know if you continue to experience this issue.

Thank you.
