Trying to log into xfinity home app

My husband and I have had xfinity home for months and haven't been able to use it because any time we try to sign into the app on our phone, it says we're having trouble signing you in. This is very frustrating. I'm about to cancel. It's too expensive for it not to work.

I pulled up your account & see that you are using an older version of the Xfinity Home app.  Can you please update to the most recent version?
