Recent Issue with Xfinity Home mobile apps.

We had a problem Thursday, July 13th that prevented some users from being able to launch the Xfinity Home mobile apps that was resolved later that afternoon.  If you are still experiencing issues with the apps, please let us know and we can help troubleshoot.

Can't get logged into my home app.. keeps saying trying to connect

The app worked fairly well for about two weeks. Then suddenly it wanted me to log in again but wouldn't let me. Frustrating. Deleted it and reinstalled a few times and it finally let me log in but just kept searching for connection. So I deleted it again, but now it won't reinstall. Can't get it to download onto my iPhone. In the meantime, my husband is having the same problem on his Android. The app won't let him log in.

I just tried to send a private message but when I hit "send" I was motified that the authentification failed. That the ticket # didn't match.

Xhome app has been trying to connect the past week. Does not get passed that. Worked for about the first week only (right after install)

Since last Saturday the app won't start .. I called tech support .. they couldn't fix problem .. I tried everything .. I just says connecting to your home but nothing happens after log in .. I'm ready to cancel everything with Xfinity .. no point of paying over $200+ A month if u can't use it ... I been using this app for last few years and ever had any problem starting until last weekend .. please help ..

I called this number and they sent out a tech that fixed my issue,

Same issue here...Have rebooted my phone 3 times, deleted the app and re-downloaded it 3 times and reset the the handheld. All have not solved to connection issue. What next? Seems like the issue is on your end!

Go to the Home page with a computer and see if you can access it.

Since the new update i keep getting the now connecting to your home message and never connects. I tried rebooting the home control, restart  my cell phone, re download the app. Nothing worked.

I'm still having problems. My ios Xfinity Home App goes to the Overview screen and the three loading dots will light up but the app does not connect. The app will not go beyond this screen.

I am having the issue with the home app not letting me log in to the home app. It is on an android phone and everytime I try to log in it sends me to the site to log in. Everytime I put my password in it says authorization error and sends me back to put the password in. I have reinstalled the app, Restarted the phone, I am the only account on  comcast, Now i am stuck without being able to use it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you using the primary userid or comcast email address?

Yes i am. It is the only user id and email for it.

Try the uninstall/install drill again and let us know what happens.

No I have called customer service three times they have not been able to help me
it will let not let me sign on to the app

After reading through this for him with no response from Comcast I think will be calling bay alarm tomorrow

I uninstalled the app and now when I go to log in it tells me you're already logged in. Then when I hit continue it comes up with Authorization error and sends me back to the login screen. It just keeps cycling me back and forth through it.

Recent issue : I'm trying to login the xfinity home app and I get an error code saying "login with the email registered at time of installation " after a new app update. I think it's error code 43401.
