New Xfinity Home update 22Oct14 crashed my iPad 2

Once downloaded, the new download would only open to a black screen. Rebooted ipad: no luck. Deleted and reinstalled: no luck. Updated on my new iPhone 6, and no problems. In fact, it's a great update if you can get it to function correctly. Any ideas ?

Exactly the same problem here. Did exactly the same troubleshooting, but still have nothing. On my iPhone 4s, the app loads, but can't find the cameras, even though they show up just fine on the touchscreen or in a browser.

Just spoke to support. They are aware of it and hope to issue a fix soon

I have the same issue on my iPad air 2 - black screen!

Hi All,

Can you please try turning your device into portrait mode? There's an issue where the login information isn't visible on the screen in landscape mode. It's an iOS 8 issue and we have a fix, but it's not in the app store yet.

Well, that worked! Still have one camera that won't show up, although it does on the touchscreen.

I updated the app on both my iphone and ipad.  Don't have the iPad with me right now, but I still have the same camera issue on my phone.  When I go to the cameras page, I get camera icons with "unavailable" at the bottom of each box.  However, if I tap on one of the cameras, it will come up "live" and sometime show up on the first page after that.  The other camera won't come up at all. However, both work just fine through my PC browser.

iPad exhibits exactly the same situation as the iPhone with the cameras.
