I am unable to gain access to ipad app for Xfinity Home

After getting through to a chat agent, who processed the activation request to have my comcast login/password set for my XFINITY Home App, I was asked to call 1-800-310-8043 at the end of my chat to activate my log in information. I have been on hold for 1 hr 15 mins at this point. ...I am yet to talk to a live agent.
