Authorization Error Please sign in with the email that you provided at the time xfinity home....

Authorization Error

Please sign in with the email that you provided at the time xfinity home was installed. [55403]

 

Recently installed Xfinity Home version 8.14.6.814006 on my Android device. I am now experiencing the error listed above. I have tried uninstalling / reinstalling and clearing the app setting data.

In contrast, I am able to log into the Xfinity My Account app for Android without issue.

Sorry to hear that you're having an issue logging in.  Earlier today, we experienced a brief service interruption which may have been the cause of the issue you experienced.  Would you mind trying again to see if your issue has been resolved?  Sorry for the inconvenience.

It doesn't make sense to have that app fail with a service disruption if that reason you are using it is to check for service disruptions!

I am also experiencing the same issue.  My error is...

   Authorization Error

   Please sign in with the email that you provided at the time XFINITY Home was installed. [55403]

I verified my password by logging into the website and not not want to reset it as it is used by other apps on various devices that I own and I do not want to have to go back and resign on to all of those after a password reset.

Hi falaniz, I'd like to take a deeper look into this issue, as well as confirm you are using the correct email. However, if you do have to reset your password, this may be the only way around this problem. Please send me a private message by clicking on my name, "ComcastChe" then click private message me.

I'm having the same problem "55403". Brand new installation this afternoon, all worked fine when techs we're here, now tonight getting the login error. Uninstalled the app, then re-inspection, still having error. Not very good for a first impression

I am having the same problem. I've been using the xfinity home app on my android phone for two months without problem, then tonight I'm unable to log in. I can log in on the xfinity website, however, using the same log in that the app won't accept.

Hi Rachel,

I called Comcast last week and they opened a ticket for tech to call me back to troubleshoot. They never called me back, but the app log in started working last night, so I don't know if tech fixed it, or if whatever problems the app had been fixed.
