Hello,

I have tried to used this app and have never been able to use it. I attributed this error to perhaps not having internet access because my power was out at home. I tried to use this app on my iPhone thinking that since I could get things like Netflix to work on my iPhone without power in my home, xfinity home would do the same thing. Unfortunately I keep getting the error. I tried it at work on our wireless network here and still get the same issue. I am chalking this up to my own ignorance on using the app. But coming here I am seeing this to be a common problem. SHould I be able to use xfinity home anywhere or do I have to be on a wireless network? EIther way I am still getting this error. I am logging on with the account I used to sign up with xfinity years ago. My firstname.lastname@comcast.net. The password is correct.

I pulled up your account & do not see active Xfinity Home Security service.  The Xfinity Home app is only for active customers of this service.  Please let me know if you have any other questions!
