Android Xfinity Home App not logging in

I cannot log into my Xfinity Home app on my Android phone on wifi or data. I get "We're having some trouble logging you in." and a blue button to "Try Again". This is really frustrating as I would really like to access my camera remotely and be able to arm the system when away.

I believe you are attempting to login with a user account that is not assigned to your Xfinity Home account.  Currently, you may only use one user account for your Home Security system.  We are developing a way to support multiple users from the same household and we will be adding that ability soon.  In the meantime, you will need to login with the original user associated with Xfinity Home.    I will private message you the details.

I apologize for the frustration that this has caused.  We’ve been able to restore service to the Xfinity Home mobile app. If you’re still experiencing issues, please PM me so I can troubleshoot with you directly, but we expect that all users will regain functionality.

   I'm still having trouble with the xfinity app not letting me log in. Xfinity is really plagued with buggy apps and websites. I'd like to be able to log in to my xfinity from my phone and tablet.

I pulled up your account & do not see active Xfinity Home service.  The Xfinity Home security app is only for active customers of this product.  If you believe this to be in error, please reach out to me directly.

It's not the home security ap...   I cannot log into my homepage from my phone or tablet. When I try to log in i'm told to sign in with the email that I was provided at the time xfinity home was installed. (43401). I've no trouble logging in on my desktop.

Hi Ch47474 - 

 

Xfinity Home is a Home Security & Automation service.  The Xfinity Home app is a mobile app that works in conjunction with this service.  You can have Comcast services without having Xfinity Home service.

 

Can you tell me which website you are signing into on your computer? I'm trying to understand what exactly you are trying to sign into?

I have been having this same trouble all this afternoon (Wednesday, March 30, 2016). Unintalled and reinstalled. It worked fine this morning. Good to know I'm not alone but... is anyone else having this problem today? Very frustrating as I like to keep an eye on the house when we are both out of it.

 

Let me be clear: I am trying to remotely access my Xfinity home security camera via my Samsung (Android) phone with the app I downloaded from the Google Play Store.

I pulled up your account & see the last time you tried signing into the app was last night.  We experienced an issue that would cause sign in issues like you experienced.  We believe it to be fixed at this time -- could you please try signing in now & let me know if you are successful?

Can you pls shut my Eco-saver OFF on my thermostats? I've called 10x over the past year to do this, but still keeps coming on which takes over the time setting temp that I set. Pls shut off.

The same is happening with us. We were on the phone with tech support for 6 hours nobody can figure out what was wrong. They are thinking our username is assigned to a different address but that is just an excuse. Then they pull this telling us that their app is down. My neighbors app is working fine. I'm using it on apple iTunes if anyone has figured out what's going on.

Can you please confirm that 

1. you are logging into the xfinity home app with your primary account (registered with xfinity home)? e.g. if a family has 2 userids/passwords linked to a comcast account only 1 of them is the primary account. 

2. you are logging into the xfinity home android app and not the mobile browser.

 I have not been able to log in to the mobile app for months.

I used my girlfriend app to control light an alarm up to a few weeks ago.

I have rebooted, uninstalled etc... no luck.

Is there a fix for this?

 

I need an app to run my alarm, light and camera.
