Not receiving calls through xfinity connect with new LG X charge phone

Not receiving calls through xfinity connect with new LG X charge phone

I have used xfinity connect for several years without any major problems. I recently signed up for xfinity mobile and acquired the LG X charge as part of the deal. I installed the xfinity connect app on the new device and at first thought it was working but then calls to my home won't ring through the LG. I can call out okay.  I also have a MOTO G4 PLay which does ring with incoming home calls.  It may be the new device but it did work occasionally. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app without any change. Any ideas?

Update: It seems to be working better now after I fiddled with the settings. I am still testing but feel that the case can be closed for now and marked solved. I will repost if needed.
