Received the new web browser e-mail today which also seems to have impacted my XFINITY Connect app. When I send an e-mail from web browser, it shows as being from my name and my e-mail address. When I send an e-mail from XFINITY Connect app, it shows as being from our Comcast account name (which is my husband's name) and my e-mail address. How to I update so that the app uses MY name (like it does with the web browser version) rather than our acount name? HELP!!
It definitely helps, but it does screw up my husband's business account which is also linked. Either the account is in his name (which is what's used for his business) or it's in my name (which is what I want for the app for my e-mail). Definitely a bug Comcast. The app should have a place to put in user name, just like you can for your individual webmail e-mail. THANKS, though, for the tip. Appreciate it.
