Re: xtv.comcast.net

XTV web portal down in Nashville, TN since about 6 PM.

And how about giving status on the Xfinity Account App when the portal goes down.  It's kind of ridiculous to look at the status and it tells me all is good. Yeah, my cable, internet and phone all work, but your portal is still broken and I have to do a lot of troubleshooting just to find it's not my problem.

Re: xtv.comcast.net

Comcast decided to change the url of the XTV web portal to https://tv.xfinity.com from xtv.comcast.net.  Unfortunately for me I had a bookmark saved to xtv.comcast.net/recordings which didn't get an auto redirect to the new url.  Just caused the page to break.  Thanks Comcast.

After I figured that out, when I tried to relogin it gave me a broken "Parental Controls" message.  I got that to go away by clearing my cache.  Thanks again Comcast.

Re: xtv.comcast.net

Glad to hear it is not happening to you, but don't minimize it because the exact same thing is happening to other users:

I just tried it again on my PC clicking the link I provided and I got this:

URI.jpg

The interesting thing is if I open the link in a different instance of the Chrome browser, the redirect actually works, even though I had already cleared the cache.  It might be a cookie or plugin data setting, but I don't feel like deleting all those settings at this time.  Anyway, I got to the new XTV portal and updated my bookmark.

Re: xtv.comcast.net

I have seen this on this forum in Chrome, but when I try IE11, it doesn't happen.  i had to clear my Chrome recent history to get it to work.

But I no longer have the issue in Chrome.
