xtv.comcast.net down/problems?

When going to watch tv online, I get the following error since yesterday

Request-URI Too Large

The requested URL's length exceeds the capacity limit for this server.

using xtv.comcast.net

Is this a known issue and when will it be fixed??

Re: xtv.comcast.net down/problems?

It's down for everyone and this is a known issue to all Comcast customers. However, Comcast employees seem to be not aware of the existence of Xfinity TV. I call Comcast support and they think I'm making up this service from my imagination. So, I have no idea if or when it will be fixed. I heard there is a new link, https://tv.xfinity.com, and that Comcast broke the old link xtv.comcast.net, but I get stuck on 'Adding Device..' after logging in. I can no longer watch tv and Comcast isn't of any help. This is the only place to vent frusteration.

Re: xtv.comcast.net down/problems?

Clear your cache and cookies on your browser. Then go to the new link, https://tv.xfinity.com. If that fails like it did for the other user, try a different browser, but make sure you clear the cache and cookies from that browser as well.  Worked for me.  Afterwards, make sure you update your bookmarks for the XTV portal, or you might get the error again.
