xfinity player upgrade

Hi,

I just encountered a problem trying to view an Xfinity TV online program.  I tried downloading the show "Coma" and a message popped up saying that I needed to upgrade the Xfinity player if I wanted to watch this show in a HD-like picture quality. Is this an extra service that I have to pay to be able to watch this show and others like it?  I downloaded another program (Grimm) and it played well.

Thank you,

Thank you for your reply, but I had already downloaded microsoft silverlight and still not able to view "Coma".  I also uninstalled it and re installed the microsoft program and was not able to view the show "Coma".

Silverlight: Unknown usually means that Silverlight is not completely installed and that you may have some files still lingering on your computer.

Please search your computer for Silverlight and delete any other files that may appear.
