xfinity app -- for Sony Smart TV? For Apple TV? For a PC?

xfinity app -- for Sony Smart TV? For Apple TV? For a PC?

Called Xfinity to have Cloud sevice turned on.  It has supposedly been activated.

My Goal is to watch X1 DVR programs on:

(1) a PC

(2) a new Sony Smart TV (which is connected to Apple TV)

Which app do I need to download to the PC?

Which app do I need to download to the Smart TV

Thank you!

PCs can only use the website xtv.comcast.net. There is no app for smart TVs to view your recordings, so your only choice is to use a way to use your TV as a 2nd computor monitor.

Thanks for the quick response.... even if it was a downer.

If I download an app to my ipad, would I be able to watch things from my DVR on that device?  If the answer is yes... then I should be able to use Apple TV as the interface (ie: mirror my ipad) and watch DVR content on my Smart TV?

Yes.  However, many Users have reported that the newest O/S upgrade is NOT working and some afre reporting to be crashing when opened...  I do not know the status of the app being upgraded.

Concerning the routing through your AppleTV... I believe I read a post that  it would not work...   You may need to search for an answer to that one.
