x1 tv app streaming issue / channel not playing

I use the X1 TV app for Android. I am having several issues. The worst being that the stream stops and starts again every minute. I have no idea what's causing it.

 

The second issue is that when I go to a local channel, it tells me it's not on my subscrition. This is not true. A fix???

This is not really a fix, but something you can try to see if your account is setup right. Go to https://xtv.comcast.net from a laptop or PC, and try to stream the live channel you said was not part of your subscription.  If it doesn't work there as well, you might have some provisioning problem with your account which you most likely will have to call in about.  Ask for billing if you do.

 

As for the streaming problem, can you stream thru a laptop using wifi from https://xtv.comcast.net?If it's just as jittery, your wifi speed might be bad.  If not then try a different Android device and see how it performs.  My tablet somethimes has problems streaming, while my phone has none.  The tablet is stuck at Android version 4.2 while the phone is 4.4.4.
