watchESPN, watch disney don't work on iPhone 4, iPad or iPod touch

watchESPN, watch disney don't work on iPhone 4, iPad or iPod touch

I just got service on Friday.  I registered on the comcast website and got my comcast email address, etc.

When I use those same credentials in any of the apps listed in the subject line I get an error that says that I must subscribe to a TV subscription in order to access content.

I have Phone, Internet and TV through Comcast.  Any ideas?

This is VERY fustrating!

Try deleting the app and then try installing it again. Let me know the results.

it takes a few days for your account to be totally provisioned, you should wait a few days.

Its been almost 3 days now since service was isntalled on Friday.  Is that not long enough or do weekends not count?

Is ESPN working on your TV?

If so, I will have our team further look into this. As rog286713 mentioned, it sometimes takes some time to fully sync but not more than 72 hours.

Thanks,

Yes ESPN works on my TVs and if I go to the Xfinity webpage I can watch ESPN via the web, but I can NOT go to http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index? and watch it.  It gives the same error as my iOS devices.

its only been one business day since you got the service it takes a few days.  Are you able to sign up for hbo go or max go or any of those sites?   If your user name and password for the primary account holder are not working it has not been long enough yet.

I tried to sign into hbo go and it gave me the same error via the web.  Haven't tried it on my phone yet.

Re: watchESPN, watch disney don't work on iPhone 4, iPad or iPod touch

on an unrelated note...

I live in zipcode 30040, I was given a scientific atlanta HD-DVR.  I noticed that it is NOT listed on the supported devices list for the xfinity moblie apps or remote scheduling via the web.

Is it possible to get a box that does support these things or am I stuck with the huge box that looks / acts like it is from the 80's?
