"This DVR does not support this feature"

"This DVR does not support this feature"

Hello,

 

I had my new DVRs installed Saturday morning.  There are two boxes - one in the living room and one in the bedroom.  The DVR in the bedroom is connecting to the DVR Manager just fine.  However, the TV in the living room will not.  On the DVR Manager page, it says "This DVR does not support this feature."  There was an activation code on the TV, but nowhere to enter it online.

 

How can I get this DVR to work properly so I can schedule recordings online?

Are the two DVR's different models?  Please post the models of both DVR's and the one that is not working.

I'll check when I get home.  However, the DVRs were just installed on Saturday.  Shouldn't they have installed the same ones?

Not necessarily will they be the same models.

 

When you get home, try and power cycling the DVR that is not working, unplug for two minutes, then power it up again for the apps to fully reload.

 

There are also times that it takes a few days for the databases to sync up for these advanced features to start working.
