"House" not available on demand any more?

ANSWERED

"House" not available on demand any more?

I assume it's because of baseball, but my DVR'ing of "House" failed tonight because "House" started almost an hour later than usual.

So I went to look it up to see if it was available on demand.

Not only was it not, but last week's isn't there either.

Furthermore, the most recent episode on line is from last season.

This is a program that Comcast advertised would be available on demand.

Why isn't it and when will it be?

fox is delaying putting shows on demand for over a week after they air now.  This is the networks issue.

Apparently the 10/3 episode is now on demand as of the last few minutes..

So are these being posted a week behind?

Why wasn't the show aired as advertised?  I searched for it  but kept getting directed to a 9:00 p.m. showing.  By 9:30, I had given up.  I couldn't find it and couldn't find anything to tell me when it might air.

Hi all,

Like ICDogg said, House and Terra Nova were preempted by baseball and it pushed back their start times. The game went into extra innings which threw a wrench into Fox's programming schedule. Because of this, your DVR will not have the whole episode recorded.

Also, Fox has recently imposed new restrictions regarding when users may view current Fox content online and On Demand.  As a result, XfinityTV.com/On Demand users will now have to wait eight days after a Fox program has aired on television before they can watch such program online or On Demand.  We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have further issues with this, please contact Fox directly.

Thanks,
Joe

Terra Nova was on demand the next day. I am not sure if comcast broke a rule fox has imposed or not. However Fox delaying episodes is total BS. Do you know a email address we can send our concerns too?

Perhaps running a banner under programming informing viewers of a delay would have prevented some problems.  It's done all the time  but didn't appear to be in this case.  Is this a Fox issue too?

josh5565,

You can contact Fox here: http://www.fox.com/askfox.php

PMR64,

The network usually alerts viewers about any programming changes. For example, ESPN and its channels put programming alerts on their bottom line ticker. If football is still on and Sportscenter is suppose to start, they usually put on the bottom line that Sportscenter will be on after the game or has moved to another ESPN channel.

I did not watch the baseball game on Monday so I do not know how Fox handled it. In the past, the announcers would state that "Terra Nova can be seen in its entirety right after the conclusion of this game" or something similar.

If you have any further questions, please ask.

Thanks,
Joe

Fox may delay a week for some programs but Kitchen Nightmares is available through On Demand the next day.

I just checked and the episode from last night is there.

I also checked House and saw that the episode from 10/10 is there. It has not been 8 days since it was on.
