problem with logging into my xfinity purchases app

I purchased a new cell. Most of my apps transferred without difficulty. I have Xfinity on Demand and I had no problems with reopening the app. I gave my username and password for the purchases app and it will not open. How do I reset?

First step in troubleshooting as is to uninstall and reinstall the app having issues.  If you used the manufaturer's automated app transfer with the new phone, therein may lie the issue.

Hello Celestialecho,

 

I apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you. Do you get an error message when you try to open app? Did you unregistered your old device from the account before you transferred over the app? If not, you may want to try that first in the Settings section of both the XFINITY On Demand Purchases app and in the XFINITY On Demand Player on your computer, as well as online at xfinity.com/store. This will remove all downloaded titles and allow you to connect a new device to your account.
