no error message, black screen

no error message, black screen

Xfinity sucks! I contacted them via chat yesterday about videos from HBO and Showtime not playing (I get a black screen with a play button that does not do anything) and after they did pretty much nothing they told me I had to call. When I called all they could tell me was that they don't actually provide the service online, it comes from a third party! So they literally did nothing to provide a solution to the problem! This is supposed to be one of the advantages to their service but apparently they are not responsible for it and we are just supposed to deal with it until it fixes itself! I am beyond angry! If you advertise a service it should work! And I'm not complaining about this after 1 day of not working... this has been like this for months!

Not all videos may be working on Internet Explorer 9 32-bit or 64-bit versions. Our team is currently working on this issue.

 

In the meantime, please use one of these browsers to watch videos:

 

Goggle Chrome 17

 

Safari 5.1

 

Firefox 10.0
