Recently got a new 4K tv and want to check out the Xfinity UHD sampler pack. I need to log in via http://login.comcast.net/oauth/device/activate but it doesn't work for me, and hasn't any day since Friday when I started trying. Anyone else having problems getting to the site?

Nope not working.  I'd suggest doing a search on google    ACTIVATE XFINITY - i bet the page has been moved

Thanks. I actually tried that... found a page for activating new Xfinity service but not the streaming site.

 

This is dumb because the page shown on the TV is clearly dynamic since it is giving me a code to type in... if they can change the code, certainly they can change the address displayed?

I am having the exact same trouble the website just sends me here. I don't see a place to sign in and enter the code.

I'm having this problem too.  I sthis service no longer available?  

 

Here's teh message I got on all three of my browsers:

 

Error 500 - Internal Error

This might happen because:

  • We are experiencing abnormal traffic to our network or
  • The service or servers on it are not currently available

Please try again later once we have solved the problem.

Still down 12/05/2017. Comcast level 3 tech said site down (took 4 levels, cut off, some said it wasn't a Comcast site!) Has it ever come back?

I just attempted to register my new 4k UHD TV in Xfinity Sampler and could not register at the specified site.  I am a comcast customer.  Please help.  Thanks

It won't let me log on using the link for the Xfinity HD Sampler on my Samsung TV.

In order to use the sign-on leave the "Ultra HD Sampler" app on the video with the code. Then go to your computer and find the site to enter the code.

 

If everything is successful the screen on the television will then go to the app. I never bother to sign off the app. Comcast will kick you off the app if they need everyone off. You also need to remember that if they are working on the app, no one gets on at that time, and of course the sign-on would not work at that particular time either.

So I thought I'd sign in using my 9000 Samsung TV.  I entered code and noticed at the bottom of the page it states:

 

"As of February 9, 2018, the Ultra HD Sampler app will no longer be available for use. You will be able to use the app through this date, although the available content will be limited."

 

Why is Xfinity bailing out on this app???
