Re: error 3140

jsummitt,

What did it say with the error message?

Did you get this error when trying to watch a video? If so, what video were you trying to play.

Also, please go to www.xfinitytv.com/computer and copy the information you see on-screen and paste it in this thread so we can further assist you.

Thanks,
Joe

Try completely removing all Silverlight files from your computer. Go to your plug-ins page and if Silverlight is still there, disable it. Then re-install it. Go here for step-by-step instructions:

http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/help/technical-support/xfinity-tv-player/#silverlight-reinstall

Let me know the results.

Thanks,
Joe

I got the same error after completely removing all silverlight files.  Any other ideas?

Try using a different web browser and let me know if it works. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

There is something in Firefox that is blocking videos from playing.

Try disabling any ad blocking add-ons and try playing a video again in Firefox.

If you prefer to keep using Safari to watch videos, please let me know and I will stop bothering you about this.
