computer entered dvr settings not activated on tv

I have been trying to delete programs from my DVR and update schedules for recording.  The website says that the instructions have been received and will be communicated to the DVR, and it shows the deletions and the new schedule.  But the tv shows the list of deleted shows, and does not show the shows now scheduled for recording.  I hve tried to make this change several times over the last two weeks.  The only change I can think of is that we have a new router from comcast. What to do?
