XfinityTV Video Player is not working.

Any and ALL episodes i try to watch give me the message for instance this is when i tried watching Homeland.

its the same message just where it says homeland transpose any other series title or movie and that is the same error. i have using Chrome. i have tried othere browsers as well. i actually updated my IE from 6 to 9 just to see if it would work i updated the silverlight for that browser as well. still nothing. i have tried opera NOTHING.

You have an older version of Silverlight installed. Please completely remove Silverlight fro your computer and then download and install it from the link below:

 

 

Follow all the on-screen instructions and then try playing videos again. Let me know the results.

Every time I play a show online it locks up within the first few seconds.  I have not gotten any shows or movies to play sinces yesterday (August 30,2012).

How can I have a old version when I dled it from Microsoft and when Chrome stays up to date
