Xfinity tv remote

Xfinity tv remote

I want to use a kindle fire as my TV remote. Not x1. I have app on my iPad, and it works fine. Purchased the basic kindle because so cheap, with the only reason is to use as remote control. Don't have good line of site for regular remote. Please tell me this idea will work.

This should work providing that APP is available in the Kindle Store and is available for your model of the Kindle.  I have a Kindle Fire HD and can use the APPS supported and available for D/L in the store.
