Xfinity remote app not changing channels

Xfinity remote app not changing channels.

 

I had a problem with my cable box not connecting so I had to swap it. Now I am not able to get the remote app to work with either my iphone or ipad. I did go into manage my cable box in MySetting at the comcast online site. It shows that the box is on my account and I do have the TV Control set to ON. I have also tryed reinstalling the apps. I did also notice that when I change the name of the cable box the change is reflected on the iOS device.

 

Please assist me in getting this feature working on this new box for me. I do use this often.

It just all of a sudden starred working. I was playing with it for awhile before and continued to play with it after I posted this message. I dont know if anyone from comcast did anything in responce to my posting but it just all of a sudden started working after I tried it again. 

 

May be worth a shot to post if your having problems as well.
