Xfinity iPad App issues with remote fuction

I have two cable boxes: one regular HD box, and also an HD DVR (Motorola RNG200N).  Since first downloading the xfinity app on my iPad, which was about a week ago, I have been unable to get the remote function to work on my DVR.  The app works flawlessly with my bedroom HD cable box.  I can change channels and use all functions.  My DVR however, has the same message upon login every time: "TV Control is not available for this cable box. Why?"

 

For whatever reason, I can use the DVR function and record shows using my iPad, but I cannot change the channels.  I have chatted online with Comcast, answered all of their questions, and done multiple resets, uninstalls, reinstalls, etc to no avail.  Does anybody have any insight into this issue?  My HD DVR is a compatible box, and should be working with the app.

Go here and make sure that TV Control is set to ON for both boxes.
