Xfinity for X1 app has stopped streaming non "go" channels

Xfinity for X1 app has stopped streaming non "go" channels

First of all, I'm in my house and on the correct network.  The app has stopped working with regular channels and recordings.  I don't get an error message, but I get the three dot "waiting" message indefinitely. 

 

Ive tried everything, from uninstall/reinstall/reboot, etc.  I've tried different devices but am still getting the same behavior.  This just started about 12 hours ago.

 

Any suggestions?

I have had this same problem for nearly a week now. It is across all platforms iPad, iPhone and desktop

 

this app when it works is great, but overall I have been disappointed with the reliability of the system since we upgraded to X1

Same problem here, why does nobody from Xfinity reply to these multiple queries? Seriously.
