Xfinity app for ipad new episodes not appearing

Xfinity app for ipad new episodes not appearing

Ok all available videos play fine on my ipad 2 with the xfinity app.  The problem is in the play now tab no new episodes for any shows are showing up.  I have access to them on my computer, but for instance new episodes of Spartacus, Enlightened, and all the premium show fo rthat matter do not even show up on the app when i click on show all episodes.

the licensing for the different mediums is different, you will notice the same shows do not appear on your tv or ipad or computer.  What you see on the ipad is different than the tv or the pc.

yeah but the earlier episodes have alwaysed appeared when they were aired.

there might be a problem on comcast end in your area, things are slow over the weekend and things usually catch up on monday.  Are those episodes on your cable box, or if you have an xbox360  you can watch that way also.

been a couple weeks now.  I do not have a 360.

Are you using the Xfinity TV App or the Xfinity TV Player App?

 

We are in the process of moving all Play Now videos to the XFINITY TV Player App. We are soon releasing messaging in the XFINITY TV App that Play Now will no longer be available in that app.

 

Having two apps opposed to one will help improve the performance in both apps
