New subscriber here. Downloaded the Xfinity TV app. It detected both of my TVs. However, the TEST button, which is supposed to produce a display on the TV, does not produce anything. The guide downloaded, and when I select a channel it gives a program description and has a box for Watch on TV. When I press Watch on TV, I hear a tone and see a pop-up icon, but the channel does not change on the TV.
Any thoughts on what may be wrong? The phone is a Nexus 4 running KitKat 4.4.2, and the cable box says it is a RNG150N (no manufacturer listed on box).
Not sure if this has any connection with the app issue, but I also do not see Caller ID on my TV when someone calls, even though I have this featured enabled in the Notifications menu.
Thanks for any advice,
My installation was Thursday January 9 (today is January 13). Interestingly, now the app is working on one of the two TVs. For the other TV, it always says "An unknown error occurred during this request. Please try again."
